Coal-fired generation has long been, and still is, one of the leaders in global electricity generation. The high share coal-fired energy mix is achieved due to known advantages this fuel, including availability reserves, relative ease extraction, ability organise reserves at plants reliable equipment operation even event fuel supply interruptions. Coal combustion modern industry requires development start-up systems for boiler units without use oil. Fuel oil used starting up boilers maintaining flame during transient or low loads.
